Banned from publication in America upon its initial release due to its “candid sexuality”, the book was the center of a major court ruling that set a precedent for the cause of free speech, particularly in the realm of literature. The meeting will be held over a potluck dinner. The meeting is open to the public, and reading the book or bringing a dish to pass is not required to attend.
