Benefit Concert featuring Elevator

April 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Hits and obscurities for your transistor radio! Songs from the 60s and more with Elevator. This blast from the past will be not only nostalgic, but educational!
Don’t miss out on this performance that will include 60’s music trivia,
valuable prizes and an appearance by a Utica jazz legend.

Come support The Other Side with this fun benefit concert featuring music by Elevator!

Jim and Ray Barnes have been performing as Elevator for many years, originally with local legend Alan Cooke on guitar and vocals. The Barnes brothers have performed with many local bands and were also original members of No Reply, a Beatles tribute band, with their cousin Mark Barnes.

The current configuration of Elevator includes singer Ed Townsend, known in Pittsburgh as lead singer of the infamous Eddie and The Otters, as well as guitarist Matt Giedraitis, known as Matt Gridley, because no one can spell his name. Matt is a current and founding member of local favorites, Gridley Page.

Ed is the only member old enough to have actually heard these songs when they were first released! The band’s repertoire includes a range of offerings from the Beatles, The Kinks, The Zombies, The Hollies, The Beau Brummell’s, The Who, The Lovin’ Spoonful, the Classics IV and many more.
