The Big Conversation: The Social and Environmental Costs of War

March 18 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This event is currently postponed. Stay tuned for a possible rescheduled date.

The U.S. military is the largest institutional consumer of oil in the world. War is a leading contributor to the growing global refugee and climate crises, militarization of the police, the erosion of civil liberties, and a catalyst for racism and bigotry while costing U.S. taxpayers over $1 trillion a year.

Greta Zarro is the Organizing Director of World BEYOND War. Join Greta for a discussion exploring the multi-faceted social and environmental costs of war.

Founded in 2014, World BEYOND War is a global grassroots network of volunteers, activists, and allied organization advocating for the end to all war, and its replacement with a just and sustainable peace.
